HOWARD MAYER BROWN GRADUATE FELLOWSHIP for 2010-11

for a graduate student at a North American university who is a member of a group underrepresented in musicology (broadly defined)

New application deadline:  15 December 2009

Students may apply who have completed at least one year of graduate work, intend to pursue a Ph.D. degree, and are in good standing at their home institution. The Fellowship is not limited to dissertation work. Awards are based on merit, with no restrictions as to research area, age, or sex. Intended for full-time study, the Fellowship carries a non-renewable twelve-month stipend currently set at US$19,000.

Application forms will be available on-line by mid November 2009 and are due by 5 p.m. EST, 15 December 2009.
