IAML 2012 (Montreal) - Call for proposals
The Canadian Association of Music Libraries, Archives and Documentation Centres (CAML) is excited to host the annual conference of its parent organization, the International Association of Music Libraries, Archives and Documentation Centres (IAML), from July 22 to 27, 2012, in Montreal, Quebec.
The CAML Programme Committee for IAML 2012 requests preliminary expressions of interest from researchers and information specialists working with music collections in Canada and in Quebec. The IAML conference features research and scholarship in music, collections, and/or library issues from around the world. The Committee is particularly interested in proposals for papers with a focus on Canadian libraries and collections, music, and publishers, although proposals for other topics are also welcome.
This preliminary call is to establish a strong Canadian and Quebec presence at the 2012 conference. Proposals will be presented to the IAML Programme Committee in July 2011.
